IV Sedation / General Anesthesia

IV Sedation/General Anesthesia is a deep sedation where the patient is completely asleep during dental treatment.

A dental anesthesiologist specialist administers this form of sedation and continuously monitors the patient to ensure that they are safe and comfortable while the dental treatment is being completed by the dentist. General anesthesia is used only for extremely fearful children and/or patients that are too young or unable to cope in a cooperative fashion and generally with extensive treatment needs.
