What is a dental cleaning?
A dental cleaning is what we call a visit to the dentist to get the buildup of tartar and plaque taken off of your teeth before they are flossed and polished. The cleaning is typically done by one of our friendly dental hygienists, who will be more than happy to teach your children the proper way to take care of their teeth at home.
Dental cleanings are also typically paired with a dental exam, so that we can effectively prevent oral damage and decay by having one of our pediatric dentists check for signs of problems.
